Cupcake Lollipops for a 50th Birthday Celebration

A couple weeks ago, my business partner and I ventured into a new line of business - Catering. (Well, it is not exactly new - I did catering as a career about 12 years ago - pre-husband and definitely pre-kids! - but that seems like it was a different lifetime at this point.) We did a cocktail party for a couple celebrating their 50th birthdays. The menu was designed around the events of their lives... and was a huge success. We haven't decided whether or not it is something we really want to pursue, but it was good to have a successful first venture.

The couple did not want a cake, so we served a variety of cupcake lollipops - Vanilla, Chocolate & Carrot Cake!
