Red Sox Nation - New Jersey

A 40th birthday cake for a good friend and fellow Red Sox fan. The cake is sculpted yellow cake filled with vanilla buttercream and the ball is made from crushed cake mixed with vanilla buttercream - a great big cake "meatball" My daughter loves cake done this way - she says it is the perfect mixture of cake and frosting in every bite!

Thank you. The biggest and coolest surprise of the year was to walk into the conference room here in Chatham and see the Red Sox Nation cake of the year. Very cool. I'll have to send a photo up to Jerry Remy - you have a new following of fans in Chatham. There were lots of "oohs" and "ahs", and I just got another "my compliments to the chef" by somebody on their way out the door.
